Homebuyer University (February - April 2020)
This series of four classes, taught by real-estate and financial experts in a small-group setting, will cover the ins and outs of budgeting for, buying, and maintaining your future home. At the end of the course, you will understand the entire homebuying process, including available down-payment and loan options, and you will be ready to pursue homeownership on your own.
Homebuyer University is open to the public, and anyone is welcome to enroll in the course.
Classes will take place every other Saturday over the course of six weeks:
1. February 22: Beginning your Homeownership Journey (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
2. March 7: Financial Planning (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
3. March 21: Purchasing a Home (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
4. April 4: Preparing for Successful Homeownership (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
The Homebuyer University course covers interconnected topics about the homebuying process and so it is important that students attend every class in the series. Each class will build on the material presented in previous classes, and you will interact with the curriculum both inside and outside of the classroom. By preparing for each class and working through your personalized action plans, you can get the most out of the program.
There is a $25 fee for enrollment in the series, which will help to cover course materials and lunch for all four classes. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid at the time of registration.
