PUBLIC HOMEBUYER UNIVERSITY COURSES

Homebuyer University (July – October 2019)

This July, Habitat for Humanity Chicago is launching our Homebuyer University. This 8-class series will equip you with the tools and knowledge needed to enter the home-buying process. Topics will cover information on home purchasing and homeownership, inclusive of the step-by-step considerations of buying a home. At the end of the program, students may opt to pursue the best homeownership option for their situation, whether it is Habitat Chicago or another lender.

The Homebuyer University courses will cover several interconnected topics regarding the homebuying process. That’s why it’s very important for all students to attend every class in the series. Each class will build on the material presented in previous classes, and you will interact with the curriculum both inside and outside of the classroom. By preparing for each class and working through your personalized action plans, you can get the most out of the program.

Due to the comprehensive nature of the information covered in this program, enrolled students will be asked to un-enroll if they miss more than one class in the series.

Course Payment

There is a fee of $25 for enrollment in the program, which will help to cover course materials. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid at the time of registration.
