Project Description: This project group brought their community together with a cookout event at their local park that included food, games, music, and back to school supplies for youth.

"The purpose of the 'Cookout in the Park' event was to engage the community in a safe fun family event, by creating and working to develop a healthy, thriving neighborhood. ... In addition to our success we were also able to identify ways to improve and expand on future community events.
