THE ASSOCIATE BOARD

The Habitat Chicago Associate Board is a network of passionate Chicagoans, ages 24 to 39, who raise awareness and revenue for Habitat Chicago through social events, volunteer days, and fundraising efforts.

Benefits

Exclusive connection to and impactful service for the Habitat Chicago mission.
Ability to meet and network with other Chicago young professionals.
Professional development and nonprofit board leadership education opportunities .
Inclusion in Habitat marketing materials, such as the website and Annual Report.

Your Role

Attend bi-monthly committee meetings and engagement or learning opportunities.
Plan and attend signature Associate Board events and attend Habitat Chicago’s annual events.
Attend Associate Board volunteer days at the Habitat Chicago construction site and at ReStore Chicago.
Commit to fundraising at least $1,500 on an annual basis via ticket sales, event sponsorships, company partnerships, in-kind donations; make a personally significant gift of at least $200 per year.
Commit to a minimum of 2 years of service.
