THE ASSOCIATE BOARD

The Habitat Chicago Associate Board is a network of passionate Chicagoans, ages 24 to 39, who raise awareness and revenue for Habitat Chicago through social events, volunteer days and fundraising efforts.

 

Are you: 

  • Determined to use your time, skills, and network to strengthen the Habitat Chicago mission? 

  • Eager to work hard and have fun as part of a team of passionate and driven young professionals? 

  • Between the ages of 24 and 39 and live or work in the city of Chicago? 

 

If so, chances are you’re a perfect fit for the Habitat Chicago Associate Board!

 


Get Involved - Join the Associate Board 

Benefits

  • Access to Associate Board events with professionals from various industries

  • The opportunity to meet and work alongside some of Chicago’s brightest young professionals

  • Access to Habitat volunteer days exclusive to Associate Board members 

  • The opportunity to grow and leverage your skills and network to make a real difference for Chicago families 

 

Your Role 

  • Attend monthly committee meetings with 1-6 hours of additional work each month

  • Plan and attend signature Associate Board events 

  • Attend Associate Board volunteer build days at the Habitat construction site

  • Commit to fundraising at least $1,000 on an annual basis via ticket sales, event sponsorships, and in-kind donations

  • Commit to minimum of 1 year of service 

 

How

  • Seats on the Associate Board are limited! Interviews are held and seats are offered on an annual basis in December

Join the Associate Board Host Committee

  • If there are no seats available on the Associate Board, interested individuals can join the Host Committee, the stepping stone to Associate Board membership! 

  • Host Committee members support the efforts of the Associate Board by marketing events, selling event tickets, and securing event sponsorships and in-kind donations.
