Neighborhood: Greater Grand Crossing Year: 2019
Project Description: This group of neighbors installed solar light decorations in the front yards and along the fences of 8 homes on their block. The lights added more illumination to the block at night and enhanced the curb appeal of the yards.

"We are mosaic in our presence, yet we are singular in our need for a nurturing stable neighborhood and block. When neighbors asked why are we doing this? We simply responded, 'We want our block to be better.'"
