Holiday Block Decorations

Project Description: This project group engaged their neighbors during the holiday season by ordering and distributing matching holiday decorations for the entire block. Neighbors came together to decorate trees with lights and wreaths, and handed out door wreaths and other yard decorations to individual homes.

"At first not all neighbors were on board and the few that were had a vision. So we started by ourselves, and as they saw the first result of our project they became excited and got on board... [The results of the project were] unity within my community [and] networking with neighbors. Now neighbors are interested in forming a block club."
