Project Description: This community group brought their neighbors together for a Halloween event full of family fun. The event engaged community members and several local organizations, who decorated their cars so that kids could stop by and pick up candy.
In their Words
"The project was a success... we had seniors, young adults and kids that all came together for this event. The event started and ended in a timely manner, we stayed within our budget, we had over 200 people from the community to show up for a safe event. Also we had Gary Comer, Revere, Youth Center and The Chicago Police Department (3rd District) all come out to volunteer and to make this event safe and inclusive."
