Donation Bundling: Indepent Garden Show at McCormick Place
Hey, ReStore Volunteers! It's your turn to help!
Help Habitat for Humanity's ReStore Chicago bundle and load donations at the Independent Garden Show at McCormick Place. Proceeds from the ReStore provide funding for Habitat for Humanity Chicago in an effort to eliminate indecent housing in our neighborhoods. With your help, Habitat Chicago homeowners achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families - creating stronger communities and a stronger Chicago.
Volunteers must dress appropriately for an active warehouse: close-toed, close-heeled, hard-soled shoes or boots; layers for the weather and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. For this event, volunteers must be able to push/pull/lift up to 75 lbs with assistance. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a water bottle and snack for the evening.
Food will be provided by ReStore Chicago. Meet us at 4:30pm at Lakeside Center in McCormick place or meet at ReStore at 3pm to carpool together.
