The House that Tech Built: Salesforce Site 3 (Team Kory/Jason) - August 14th
Hey, Salesforce! It's your turn to build!
Join your colleagues and Habitat for Humanity Chicago to build affordable homes and strengthen our neighborhoods!
Habitat Chicago homebuyers help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your help, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families - creating stronger communities and a stronger Chicago.
In order to maintain social distancing, we have assigned your group to multiple addresses. This registration page is for your assigned address, if you wish to change or switch please talk to your group coordinator.
In light of COVID-19 we have added a volunteer agreement (linked below). We are asking for you to refrain from volunteering:
- If you or someone in your household has had contact with anyone who has exhibited the following symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days, including but not limited to: fever, cough, difficulty breathing, respiratory or flu-like symptoms, sore throat, etc.
- If you have traveled outside of the United States in the last 14 days
- If you have traveled via airplane in the last 14 days or been in any group larger than 10 where social distancing was not maintained
- If you have been in contact with a person who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
- If you have been medically directed to self-quarantine due to possible exposure to COVID19

What your build day means - from last year's The House That Tech Built Homebuyer, Tonya Martin:
"I've been wanting to move out of my apartment for the longest time, but I was scared. I didn't want to strain myself financially because I'm a single parent. I was looking at all of these houses that I thought would be perfect for me and my daughter, Kayli, but couldn't afford, and the houses that I could afford needed a lot of work. Then I heard about the Habitat opportunity and I was all over it. I found out what I needed to have and brought it all over the very next day and now, here I am - a soon to be homeowner! Kayli and I are so appreciative for everyone coming together to make this dream come true. We are grateful for everything!"
