On a warm and sunny June day, Habitat Chicago homebuyer Lybia raised the walls of her home during the second annual House that Tech Built Wall-Raising Day and saw the home of her dreams begin to come to life.

Habitat for Humanity Chicago is proud to announce the launch of our public Homebuyer University this July, which will equip participants with the tools, knowledge, and a personalized game plan to enter the homebuying process.

Every year, Habitat for Humanity Chicago utilizes between six and 10 year-long AmeriCorps volunteers both in the office and on the construction site. The benefits to the organization and our Chicago community are countless, but the benefits for the service members themselves are pretty great, too!

We believe in the strength of our city, the self-reliance of homebuyers, and the power of a stable home. Last month, over 200 individuals came together to reflect on and invest in these core beliefs at our sixth annual Benefit Breakfast.
